To work in Belgium you need to be either an EU passport holder, be married to an EU passport holder or acquire a Belgian work permit. The school will apply for a work permit on your behalf if you are a non-EU passport holder although this can take up to two months to obtain. Our current salary scale for teachers is above the Main Pay Scale for Inner London although tax paid in Belgium is higher than the UK.
