Unfortunately at the moment we do not have any classroom teacher or assistant vacancies. Also, we do not currently anticipate a vacancy occurring for September 2010. However the situation could always change in the coming weeks and months. Therefore if you are seeking a post for next academic year please feel free to submit your CV and a letter of application to schooloffice@bisb.org and we will keep it on file so that it is on hand should a suitable vacancy occur in the future. Please indicate your preferred year group or groups for teaching posts as we expect a degree of flexibility from all of our teachers. |

To work in Belgium you need to be either an EU passport holder, be married to an EU passport holder or acquire a Belgian work permit. The school will apply for a work permit on your behalf if you are a non-EU passport holder although this can take up to two months to obtain. Our current salary scale for teachers is above the Main Pay Scale for Inner London although tax paid in Belgium is higher than the UK.
