Facilities

The British International School of Brussels is a member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) and the Council of British International Schools (COBIS). The school is acredited by COBIS and offers a high quality, British National Curriculum education to English speaking children aged 2½ to 11. The Infant School is housed in a magnificent two-storey building, which provides a very pleasant working environment for both staff and children. The infant building includes 7 large and very attractive classrooms each with interactive whiteboards, laptop computers with broadband Internet connection, an outside playground and facilities for individual music practice, a separate library, and central display area.

The Junior School is housed in a slightly larger four storey building including classrooms with interactive whiteboards, junior library, hall and playground. Both buildings also have specialist rooms for Music, ICT and French teaching. All of our full-time teaching staff are university graduates holding qualifications enabling them to have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
