The
Magic Pumpkin
by Liam, Year 3
Once
upon a time there were two children, one named Kate and the other
one named James. They lived in an old house in London. It was a
rainy day. They were very bored. But then their granny asked them
to get the pumpkin from the pantry. They went to fetch the pumpkin.
Then when they touched it, they were transported to another dimension.
Then they arrived in a cave. Then suddenly the ground shook underneath
them. They turned around and saw a gigantic Chinese dragon. “RUN!”
shouted James. They ran as fast as they could with the Chinese dragon
on their tail. Then they saw a nearby mountain. They climbed the
mountain. The roars of the Chinese dragon were growing fainter and
fainter. “Phew”, said Kate, “that was a close
one.” They saw another pumpkin. They ran up to it and touched
it. They ended up in an enchanted castle. It was so beautiful that
they decided to take a walk around the castle. But they didn’t
notice that two suits of armour were following them and that the
paintings had eyes. Then they finally found another pumpkin. They
touched it. They were back home.
