Headteacher Stephen Prescott has a B.Eng from Sheffield University and a PGCE from Birmingham University. He also has an MA in Educational Management from the Open University in the UK.
He has taught across all year groups from Reception to University entrance level in the UK, Kuwait, Egypt and the Czech Republic before coming to Belgium.
He has been a Head Teacher for over 20 years, including being the founding Head of the British International School of Brussels.
In his spare time he enjoys drama, football, reading and going walking with the dog at weekends.

Resources Director Helen Prescott has been a primary teacher for over 25 years after obtaining a Cert Ed and B Ed from the University of Wales.
She has also taught in the UK , Kuwait, Egypt and the Czech Republic.
In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, reading and spending time with her family.

After a career in the Royal Air Force, Beverley Tranter trained to become a teacher.
She has a BA (Hons) in Humanities and a PGCE. Beverley worked in France and England before joining BISB in 2009. She has recently taught, and been involved in teacher training, in India.
She is also a qualified LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) teacher. Beverley is married with a grown up son who spends most of his life involved in outdoor pursuits.
She enjoys reading, updating her computer skills and gardening. Beverley is our Junior Building Co-ordinator.
Nursery Teacher and
Alison Davies has a D.P.Q.S specializing in Early Years Education and has over 20 years experience in this field.
She is passionate about providing a positive, stimulating and fun learning environment, for children in the Early Years. Alison joined B.I.S.B. in 2007 and is currently working as a Nursery teacher in the Nursery class.
Her last working position before taking a career break was in Oxford, England, where she was the manager of a workplace day nursery.
Her free time is spent with her family, but she also enjoys reading, studying Flemish and trying to cycle and walk in the lovely Belgium countryside.
She also works voluntarily as part of a pastoral care. team and enjoys meeting a wide variety of people through this. Alison is one of our Infant Building Co-ordinators.
