She is a Music Together teacher at Dingdong music center in Brussels, a joyful, creative, and natural way for children and their grownups to learn music through songs, rhymes, movement, and instrument play. She began her violin studies in Italy at the age of seven. Ten years later she had already performed with several orchestras in Italy. After obtaining her violin diploma at the Conservatorio Nino Rota di Monopoli in 2009 she started her first MA year as an Erasmus student in the Czech Republic in order to deepen her knowledge of chamber music. Her second MA year was in Germany where she completed an Erasmus placement at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” Leipzig. In April 2014 she obtained her Master’s degree in chamber music with the highest note at the Conservatorio di Monopoli Nino Rota. Soon thereafter she won the Leonardo da Vinci scholarship which gave her the opportunity to work as an assistant at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Working as a music teacher at DingDong and as a Garderie supervisor at BISB was a gift for her and for her career as teacher. It allows her to combine her passion for teaching music with her love for children. Vanessa is a nursery assistant and garderie supervisor.
