Bénédicte Mayeur

Music Teacher

Bénédicte is a Belgian violinist who completed her university-level education in the UK. She has a BMus (Hons) from the Royal College of Music (London) and a PGDip in Music Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music (Manchester). Developing a passion for teaching, she later obtained a Master’s in Music and Pedagogy at IMEP (Namur). Previous work experience includes teaching music and violin at Imagine ASBL, the Tchaikovsky Music School in Brussels and freelance work in various Belgian orchestras. She joined BISB in 2015, and is also part of the teaching staff and project manager for cultural mediation at ReMuA ASBL. Bénédicte loves cats, hiking, as well as cooking and eating good food.
