Rosaria was born in Italy but raised and educated in Belgium. She has a degree in modern languages and a teaching diploma in FLE (French as a foreign language) and has been teaching French at BISB since joining the school in 2001. Before that she taught French in several educational establishments throughout Belgium, including Alliance Française, which, coincidentally, was the Oak building before it became part of BISB.
She has always been passionate about teaching languages to children because they are so receptive and naturally open to learning and teach her so much in return. Her aim for them is always the same: to learn French and have fun at the same time. Learning new languages is also learning about new cultures and this prepares children to better face the world.
In addition to French, she speaks fluent Italian, English and Dutch. She is married with two children.
