After School Clubs & Swimming
We are beginning to see a shift in the weather, the temperatures are cooler and there is a definite feel of Autumn in the air.The Junior department children enjoyed their Skills Friday trip to Josaphat Park where they enjoyed a day of physical activities and challenges ending with some cross country running. They should all sleep well this weekend!
From Wednesday September 16th Year 3 to 6 will all go swimming on Wednesday afternoon at NATO. There are enough instructors for the group as a lot of the children are already swimmers.
The next school holiday the Tech and Play team will be running a holiday camp at BISB during the second week from 26th October to 30th October. Here is the link to the registration page on their website https://www.mytechnplay.com/holiday-camps-in-brussels
We would like to start after school clubs next week but we do need a few more children in each club to enable them to run so please do sign your children up to take part.There has been a virus going around school this week so I would like to thank those parents who kept their children at home until they were well. I would also like to say that we have tissues in school for children to use to wipe their nose and then dispose of in the bin, so please do not send your child with a cloth handkerchief. The children use them and then leave them lying on the table and this is how the viruses spread. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.We will be having an Open Day on Saturday October 10th for new families looking for a school to come and visit BISB. Please encourage people you know who are seeking a school place to come and look around.

My thought for the week this week follows the Assembly in the Junior department today which was about making choices.
