Another busy week has flown by and it seems incredible that next week is the last one before the two week Spring Break. The weather has been pleasant and we have enjoyed another week with beautiful blossom in our neighbourhood. The week has seen the children in Year 1 and 2 planting the beans they grew in pots in the classroom outside, so maybe if they are lucky and look after them properly they might get some beans to taste. This has been a shorter week than normal but what an amazing week this has been weatherwise. It seems the sun shone just to highlight the beautiful cherry blossom in the streets around our school. Both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 went out on blossom walks on Friday, so took full advantage of this beautiful time of the year. What a week this has been, lots of new experiences for many children and parents. Some parents waved their children off on Monday on the school journey and for many it was the children’s first time away on their own. What an exciting week back at school this has been. Firstly, the sun shone every day, which really made us all feel that Spring is on the way. The dressing up day for World Book day was a very successful day with all the staff and children dressing up as different characters.
